What is Autocharge and how does it work?

Autocharge is a technology that acts as a new form of authentication method to let you start charging your EV automatically when you plug into a compatible ChargeNet fast charger.

When an EV is plugged into a charger, we receive an identifier from the EV (if it is compatible) and check if it is connected to a ChargeNet account. If it is, we will start the session on the account automatically. If not, you can start the session as usual with an RFID or through the app. 

To get started, charge with us a few times and the app will prompt you to set up Autocharge if we detect that your EV is compatible. Once you have set Autocharge up, just plug in and start charging automatically.
