Starting a charge

You can start a charge using:

  • The ChargeNet app: Select the station on the map, once youve found the charge point you want to activate and tap Start charge

  • Automatic charging: if your vehicle supports Autocharge or Plug & Charge, it will start automatically when you plug in. [Learn more](/support-hub/automatic-charging).

  • An RFID fob: Swipe the RIFD on the charge to activate the charger. RFIDs are recommended as a backup, particularly in areas with poor mobile signal.
