Yes, a ChargeNet account is required to use the network. Your account links your payment method to your sessions. Creating an account is free and takes just a few minutes.
You can create an account via the ChargeNet app or website.
Via the app:

Download the ChargeNet app from the App Store or Google Play

Tap Sign up and follow the prompts.

After youve created an account youll need to add a payment method. We support a credit or debit card (Mastercard or Visa are supported) or your prefered billing partner

Go to the ChargeNet website - https://charge.net.nz/

Under “Get started” you’ll find the sign up link

Follow the same steps as above.
Note: You must add a valid payment method to complete registration. ChargeNet accepts credit, debit (both Mastercard or Visa) or billing partner
